Raytheon Nabs $110 Million Award for International Cyber Operations Center
Raytheon [RTN] has received a contract worth nearly $110 million to provide a cyber security operations center for a country in the Middle East North Africa Region. Raytheon said its support and services under the contract will include vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, operational support and training. The company said the support will address threats to the country's defense systems. "Raytheon's nation-scale cyber security solutions are in growing demand from countries around the world as they confront today's dynamic cyber threats," Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services, said in a statement. "The challenge of defending large, complex networks, platforms and infrastructure against the most extreme class of cyber threats is fully met by our core cyber security competencies and global experience."
OSI Systems Receives $33M in Awards from U.S. Government Customers
OSI Systems [OSIS] has received two contracts worth a combined $33 million for operations and maintenance, and cargo and vehicle systems with U.S. government customers. The largest award, a $25 million order, was placed by Customs and Border Protection for service and maintenance, including logistics, parts and program management of its cargo, vehicle and parcel inspection systems. The order was issued under a $140 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract the company received from CBP in June 2018. The second award was an $8 million contract from an undisclosed U.S. government customer for cargo and vehicle inspection systems. OSI didn't say what systems are being purchased.
DHS Awards KR Contracting $79M for Armed Guard Services
KR Contracting has received two contracts potentially worth a combined $78.7 million from the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service. One award, worth $40 million, is to provide protective security officer services at five locations in Washington, D.C. The other award is worth $38.7 million to provide armed guard services at various federal facilities in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. The award is a small business set aside.
